I’m going to start using this learning approach in my classes in a few weeks, and I bought this book to provide me with the basic tools. The cover says, “A Guide to Using Small Groups for Improving Learning.” What’s here is good, but the problem is that many of the specific examples are only citations to the older book: Team-Based Learning: A Transformative Use of Small Groups in College Teaching.
I feel short-changed.
