Distance Learning Degree – Redefining Education

Distance learning degree is redefining how you look at education. In the past, education was looked upon as direct interaction between student and his teacher. There are 4 types of Online School. First, Private Online Schools, these are not government controlled, vary in quality, most expensive option. Second, there are Public Online schools which are government controlled, present in almost all states and regionally accredited. Third option is Online Charter schools which are government funded so do not charge any tuition fees and give diplomas on a particular subject (such as technology or the arts). Finally, there are University-Affiliated Online Schools which generally offer high quality education. Costs, admission policies, and program requirements vary widely.
